What is Engineering ?
There are large number of definition of Engineering. Various people have given various definition according to their view.
But here I am going to give this definition in very simple language that would be very easy to understand.
"Engineering is an application of science and maths to solve the Basic problems of real Life". Engineers are the ones who are trained for to do so.
What do Engineers do ?
Once Archimedes is said to have remarked about the lover " Give me a place to stand on and I will move the earth".Such is the Power that an Engineers possesses and a well trained Engineers is good enough to make life of a common people easy and comfortable.Engineers apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop solution of technical problems.Their work is the link between the scientific discoveries and commercial applications that our society and our commercial needs.
Engineering is the application of science and maths to create something of values of our natural resources.If we look carefully we would find that most of the things is based on engineering Science i.e from transistors to cell phones, from cycles to rockets, from fan to microwaves, from road to dams,from computer chips to artificial limbs and the list is unending things.it is abolutely true that " Scientists discover the world that exists, Engineers create the world that never was".
Engineering is the kind of expertise, which open the doors to many careers. Engineers works with structures, tools, metals, chemicals etc. They repair, modify and build the hardware of life by using their technical skills and scientific principles.

During design and production ,Engineers have to work in testing, maintenance and production.These engineers check out production in factories,determine their cause of components failure,and test manufactured products to maintain quantity and quality .They also estimate the time and cost to complete projects.
Engineers mostly uses computers to produce and analyze designs of machines,to simulates and test how a machine,and system operates to generate specification for parts of any machine and to monitor product's quality and control Process efficiency in better use.
