What are Black Holes ?

Black holes are the place in space where gravity pulls  is  extreme so  much that even light cannot get out and also even the fastest moving particles. That's why it is called "Black Holes".

Since no light can get out, people cannot see black holes.They are invisible. But space telescope with advance tools can find black holes. This advance tools in telescope can detect how stars closer to black holes act diffently than Other stars.

How Big Are Black Holes ? What is the Size of Black Holes ?

Black holes may be small or Big.Scientist suggest that the smallest black holes are small as an atom. These black holes may be very tiny but have the huge mass as heavy as mountain.

Another kind of Black holes are called "stellar". Their mass may be about 20 times as mass of sun.There may be large number of Black holes ( Stellar) in every galaxies. You must know the galaxy of Earth is " Milky Way ".

The largest mass black holes are known as" Supermassive ". These black holes has the mass that has equal to over million  joint masses of sun together.Scientists have proved that every large galaxy contain Supermassive black holes at it's centre.The Supermassive black hole at the centre of our galaxy Milky way is called "sagittarius". It has mass over 4 million sun's mass together.

How do black Holes formed ?

Scientists suggest that small Black holes formed when our universe began or formed.

   You know Stellar black Holes are formed when centre s of very big stars collapsed or fall in itself.when it happens,it causes Supernova.

Scientists opinion about supermassive black holes are formed at the same time as the galaxies are.

If Black Holes are black : How Scientists have identified them ?

A Black Holes cannot be seen because strong gravitational pull of light is found at it's centre.

But Scientists studied that how the strong gravity affect of gases and stars around the black holes. When a Black Holes and stars come close to each other, high energy light is emitted. 

This kind of high energy light cannot be seen by normal human eyes but Scientists can see the using satellites and high Power telescopes.

Will Earth Fall into a Black Holes ?

Black holes will not go to destroy  moons ,stars and planets.Our Earth will not fall into a Black holes because black holes are not closer to our solar system

The black holes would have the same gravity as the sun has. The sun will never fall into the Black holes. The sun is not enough big star to make a Black Holes.
