Different types of Engineering Branches :----

1.computerEngineering :---


                                           

Computer Engineering is the branch of engineering which studies elements both from electrical Engineeringand computer science and applies it to the making and development of computers and computer based systems.Computer Engineers build computers such as PCs,and supercomputers.They also build computer based systems such as those found in car,planes, electronics, phones, communication networks and many other products.Computer Engineers typically design the hardware and software in computer based systems.

  

2. Electrical Engineering :--              

       
The role of Electrical Engineers comprises design and development of more efficient Electrical machinary, Power  System and control equipment for the generation, transmission and distribution of Electrical energy and telecommunication.They specialize in different areas like Power generation,transmission and distribution and manufacturing etc.Electrical Engineers find jobs in Power plants whether thermal,hydro or nuclear.They have Job opportunities in industries like the railway, construction and civil aviation and all types of manufacturing plants.




 3.   Electronics engineering :--

These Engineers are concerned with design, fabrication ,maintainance and supervision of electrical equipment used in the entertainment sector, media, hospitals and computer industries and for communication and defence.They work for microprocessors,fibre optics and in telecommunication, televison and radio.Electronic Engineers may specialize in computers , industrial equipment and controls, aerospace equipment and bio medical equipment.

Electronic Engineers are employed in industries manufacturing electronics equipment, research and development and places where electronic sevices are extensively used , e.g, televison and broadcasting, aerospace industries and automobile industries.         





 4. Mechanical Engineering :---                       

Mechanical Engineering is a frontier and very important branch of Engineering stream which involve the application of laws and principles of Physics to analyze, design manufacture and maintainance the mechanical systems.A mechanical Engineers understand the key concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics and energy.He / She works in various field which use mechanical systems including equipment and machinery, medical devices and more.

5. Civil and Structural Engineering :-


Civil Engineers are involved in design and construction of buildings, roads, airports, harbours, tunnels, bridges, dams, water and sewage systems and even nuclear Power plants




A civil Engineers are responsible for planning and designing a project and then having it constructed to the required scale.They are employed at all the major construction companies whether or in public or private,railways, consultancy firm army and so on.Civils Engineers can also pursue teaching and research or start their own consultancy firm.



6. Chemical Engineering :--

It is a branch of Engineering which involves the application of Chemistry  and Physics  with mathematics.This branch involve the Process   of  converting raw materials or chemicals into more useful forms.


They utilise processes developed in the laboratory into practical application. For example, the production of products such as plastics, medicines, detergents and field.They design plants to maximize productivity and minimize costs. 



7. Petroleum Engineering :--         



Petroleum Engineering is a recent development in the technical education. It is becoming very much popular among young generation.Petroleum Engineers are involved in the exploration and production activities of petroleum which is very important source of our energy sectors.






It explain vast range of topics including economics, geology,geochemistry, geophysical, geomechanics, oil drilling , Knowledge management, siesmology, tectonics, thermodynamics, well logging,oil and gas production, reservoir, pipelines etc.
